Heroes Welcome in Beeston

Heroes Welcome initiative

Beeston officially launched its Heroes Welcome scheme on May 13th 2011. Representatives from nearby Chetwynd Barracks, local businesses and the Royal British Legion helped the Mayor of Broxtowe officially raise the flag in Beeston square.

Where displayed, the Heroes Welcome logo shows support for British Armed Forces Personnel and indicates a warm welcome, service upgrade, special acknowledgement or even a little discount as appropriate.

This will literally put Beeston on the map and everyone that chooses to take part will be part of the website www.heroeswelcome.co.uk.

How can businesses join up?

Decide on the discount, offer or service upgrade you wish to give. This is completely up to each individual business; there is no maximum or minimum amount requirement.

Fill in the form below and you will automatically be entered onto the website. We will then issue you with a window sticker which will help identify you as part of the scheme. See who's signed up already at Heroes Welcome initiative in Beeston.

How does it work?

Appropriate ID will be required to qualify for individual offers. Businesses taking part in the initiative can identify personnel as they carry official ID in the form of an MOD 90. Should a business wish to include veterans in their offer, they will usually carry a regimental association card or British Legion membership.
